Help Pass a Strong Global Warming Bill

Representatives Henry Waxman (D-CA) and Ed Markey (D-MA) have introduced draft global warming legislation that would cap America's global warming pollution, liberate us from imported oil, and put millions of Americans to work unleashing our clean energy future.
It will become the legislative vehicle in the House for climate action this year. This is the opportunity we've long been waiting for. Scientists warn that there is no time to waste -- that if we don't act now, we risk catastrophic threats from run-away global warming.
We must seize this opportunity to pass the strongest possible bill. Please send an email to your Representative to support global warming action in 2009.

It is obvious from the oppressive heat this summer (and we're barely a week into it) that we have adversely effected the ozone layer. This is not mentioning the additional effect of overforestization. We must aggresively work to reverse, and prevent further, damage from global warming.

Dear Representative, I will cry if you dont help. I want you to save the Artic and everybody. There are over 9,000 signatures. Doesnt that say something. You should do something. Find other renewable substances we can use. Dont destroy the Amazon Rain forest. If you dont help youll just be beating yourself up when the artic is destroying and all these things happen. If you say no youll be letting over WAY OVER 13,000 people down and youll help make us one step closer to a destroyed world
