Democracy's survival depends on intelligent leadership. Put emphasis back on thoughtful intelligence in America !

We have had an extended period of degradation of intelligence in our society and the dangerous results are now coming more drastically to light. The effect of the ignorance embraced by the Trump administration has one benefit of shining a glaring light on what can happen when we do not uphold standards that elevate and place proper reverence and reward on those capable of the highest intellectual ability.
Think of the time no one now spends on actual research, fact finding, balanced judgement and problem solving. Think of the "short sound bytes" that are long now cliche and the speed with which so called "information" is supplied and demanded. Think of the lack of concern for errors even when the results have had fatal consequences.
Think of all the lack of conversing that has been substituted with blind yelling and accusations.
Think of all the excuses that can be supplied for why this has come about. But does that matter? I don't care how it got here, the question is what to do about it. Is this the example of behavior we want this generation of children to learn? Are we really willing to let something as ignorant as white supremacy resurge?

We as Americans need to send a message that this is our government and we get to decide how it works. And the lesson I think we should take from Trump is we need a minimum IQ score for any presidential candidate. We have a minimum age to run for president which is rather arbitrary. We will get better results by also having a minimum IQ standard and all candidates must be tested. I propose that anything less than 130 is unacceptable.

If you agree that Americans need to place value back on intelligent discourse, decision making, and leadership in this country and that we need to protect our country be weeding out unworthy candidates for the office of president by enforcing a minimum standard IQ score, please sign this petition and pass on to your friends, colleagues, family, and fellow Americans.
