                                                I need your help

I have been in the process of trying to get my 4 Grandchildren since I found out in August 2005 that they were removed from my Daughter-in-laws home in Kenton County (Covington, Ky) since then I filed for an interstate compact.  I was told that in order to get my Grandchildren I would have to obtain a foster care license in Indiana and get the kids as Foster children. So I went through foster parent training, CPR and First Aid, TB test, State Crimenal background check, give 4 references of non relatives and pass a home inspection, I did everything that was asked of me, when it came time for the home inspection we told the office that we still had some of the walls to complete upstairs where 3 out of the 4 children were gonna sleep(which were the 3 girls) ages 4,6,8. They came out looked at the whole house, backyard, kitchen cabinets and refrigerator, nothing bad was said about what they had looked at, when they looked at the upstairs and saw it wasnt finished, they gave us 2 weeks to complete it or they were gonna automately deny us of our foster care license, we had friends come from Chicago to help us get it done, when it was completed(within the 2 weeks they gave us) I called them to see when they might be coming to complete the inspection, it was then we were told they weren't coming because of an Educational Neglect they found onme from 2001, a substancial report that I never knew about, and when I talked to the county office where the report was made too, they couldn't remember ever talking to me about it at the time, see in 2001 my daughter was getting ready to turn 16 (legal age in Indiana to quit school) but while she was still 15 and still in school in Indiana I left her in the care of a good friend of mine while I went to Chicago for a few months to take care of my mother that was ill and not doing so good at the time. While in my friends care, I guess she wasnt attending school on a regular basis, and I didnt know this, and my friend didnt tell me either, so the worker that got the report went to my friends house and had a talk with her, never once was I contacted about the report. So because of a report that I never knew about stops me from getting my Grandchildren in Indiana. My Grandchildren have been in foster care now almost a year and the court date is coming up July 18th to do a GOAL change and the GOAL change is to change the status of foster care to adoption, what I cant understand is why the county I live in didnt find this report on me from day 1, to where I wouldn't of had to go through all the red tape and come up with other options to get my grandkids if it meant getting a lawyer or moving to KY. Time has run out unless we can stop the GOAL for adoption. If you feel what my County did was wrong and you think the kids should be placed with me, please sign the petition, and help me to bring the kids home where they belong and thats with family, where all 4 of them will still be together, if they get adopted out, they will most likely be seperated and never see one another again, most of all I will never see them again, and that just BREAKS MY HEART!!!!   PLEASE sign the petition.          Thanks and GOD BLESS EVERYONE
