Stop the Burn!

The Environmental Protection Agency's mission is to safeguard the natural environment, air, land, and water upon which life depends and protect human health. The EPA is planning to contradict just that and have proposed an open-tray burn of over 16 million pounds of M6 propellant at Camp Minden, (18 miles east of Shreveport, Louisiana).
This technique would put the propellant on a tray and burning the chemicals in open air. The EPA claims this is safe, but they haven't provided any proof substantiating their claim. There are three other risks involved, explosive detonation, groundwater contamination and soil contamination.
Now the propellant is becoming unstable. In 2012, an explosion at the site produced a 7000 foot mushroom cloud, shook the Earth and shattered windows miles from the site.
There has to be a safer method for disposing of this explosive propellant. Go to www.stoptheburnla.org for more details.
