Tell Banks: Stop Profiting Off Climate Chaos!

Big banks are betting against the planet.

They are profiting off of risky investments at the expense of communities, ecosystems, and the climate. These banks are pouring hundreds of billions of dollars into the fossil fuels that are most incompatible with a climate-stable world. Investments in coal, tar sands, Arctic and ultra-deepwater oil, and fracked-gas export terminals are the most expensive, risky, and harmful projects for people and planet.

Rainforest Action Network follows the money trail to find the real culprits behind climate chaos – the institutions that are destroying lives and communities across the globe for short-term profits.

RAN's climate finance campaign has a long track record of getting big banks to clean up their fossil fuel policies. By pressuring banks like JPMorgan Chase, RAN kept U.S. funding away from a massive coal export terminal that would have done grave damage to the Great Barrier Reef. After years of campaigning on Bank of America and others, nine U.S and European banks have announced a retreat from coal mining. But there is still more to do and we need your help.

Add your name and join us in the fight to end the big banks' risky, climate-killing policies and protect our communities, ecosystems, and the climate.
