Social Security Deserves A Real Debate

Social Security needs to be updated for the 21st Century so we can keep the promise to future generations. Yet despite a seemingly endless run of debates we're still waiting for a real discussion of how each candidate would strengthen this vital program.

Americans pay into Social Security and they deserve to know how every presidential candidate would make Social Security financially sound for them, their kids and their grandkids. If our leaders don't act, future retirees could lose up $10,000 a year.

We can't afford to arrive at election day without having held every candidate accountable for laying out a plan to update Social Security for future generations.

Enough with the nonsense. Let's make sure that in the coming weeks our candidates answer the tough questions on Social Security.
