GOOD NEWS! Court Restores Federal Protections for Wolves

Over forty thousand Care2 members protested the Bush administration's decision to delist Greater Yellowstone area wolves from the Endangered Species Act in March 2008.

And on July 18, a federal judge restored endangered species protections for wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies.

This victory means that Northern Rockies states must immediately halt further killing of wolves. Already, over 100 wolves had been killed in the short time since wolves were delisted in March.
