Stop the radioactive contamination inflicted to marine life by the British nuclear plant at Sellafield!

Radioactive pollution has many causes, including the normal operation of nuclear power stations, but by far one of the single biggest sources of man-made radioactive elements in the sea is the nuclear fuel reprocessing plant at Sellafield in the UK. These discharges have resulted in the widespread contamination of living marine resources over a wide area; radioactive elements traceable to reprocessing can be found in seaweeds as far away as the West Greenland Coast.

It's time we said we don't need nuclear power - there are much better ways to save the enviroment! Solar, wind, water - why not use them more? Show them that Britain doesn't want nuclear waste ruining our seas! Sign the petition!
