GOP: Stop Spewing Health Care Lies
Target: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell

The Republican smear machine has been at its best recently, spewing falsehoods about the Democrats' health care plan. But President Obama said it best in his address to our nation, when he debunked the "death panel" claim:
"Some of people's concerns have grown out of bogus claims spread by those whose only agenda is to kill reform at any cost. The best example is the claim made not just by radio and cable talk show hosts, but by prominent politicians, that we plan to set up panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens. Now, such a charge would be laughable if it weren't so cynical and irresponsible. It is a lie, plain and simple."
It's cynical. It's irresponsible. And it must stop.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell must take a stand against his party's falsehoods. Tell Senator McConnell: Stop the lies! Force Republican Senators to debate policies actually in the bill, rather than spreading salacious rumors that don't meet the fact-check.

The Old Boys Club of the Back Room tactics are too childish for the time in which we live and the dangers people face. Our world is now seemingly overrun with fraudulent and self-serving leaders. The worst of the lot in the U.S. seem to be Republican bad sports out to do what they can to make Obama fail. They are so angry at their own mishandling of national policies that they are peevish, nasty, and cut-throat in their attacks against reason and faith. Pretty hard to look at any of them and think they are grown men of privilege. Little men, you need growing up. Mature soon for the sake of us all. Oh, that's not what you care about, the all? Hmmm. Community is a word you should think about. Try.

Rather than focus on debating policy points, your party has relied on spreading lies to make the American people scared of reform.
