68 Wolves Killed In Barbaric Aerial Hunt
Governor Murkowskis reinstatement of aerial wolf hunting in Alaska has already resulted in the the death of too many wolf mothers, fathers and pups! Help stop the slaughter, Sign this petition demanding that Governor Murkowski halt the killing.
Aerial hunting allows private hunters with permits to gun down wolves from helicopters or planes; or run the wolves to exhaustion in the deep snow then land and shoot these helpless animals!
This practice is barbaric, ruthless, and intolerable. In an effort to mollify disgruntled hunting interests which claim wolves are reducing moose and caribou herds, Murkowski has legalized this reprehensible threat to wolves. But wolves often remove the sick, weak, inferior and old members of caribou and moose herds, which actually strengthens those gene pools over time.
It is time for the Governor to do the right thing - stop the slaughter.

We already wiped out any significant wolf population. Man than got the great idea of re-introducing the wolf back in Yellowstone park and a few other places. Now it's time to pull their 180 degrees and wipe out the wolf again. We all know what part wolves play in the eco system, weeding out the sick tired ,and weak animals for the most part. I'm sure that we being the superior animal can find away to coexist with these beautiful creatures.
