Email this PetitionWe are using this petition format as an inexpensive, efficient vehicle for soliciting community feedback related to the need for onsite after school care on our Menlo Park elementary school campuses.
Besides private nanny care, the current options for Menlo Park families include the Burgess After School Center (which only had 6 openings this year) and Our School (which is also at capacity).
We want to be clear that this is not a petition of demand. This petition has not been circulated at the request of the City or District, nor should it be considered official in any way.
We are using this approach only as a preliminary, information gathering tool. Accurate, comprehensive feedback, we hope will enable our community leaders to take appropriate action based on hard facts.

Though we cannot say with certainty what the possible fee or timing schedule of an onsite facility might be, the fee schedule below has been incporporated to help you assess your possible interest level. This fee schedule is based on an existing program at a nearby District. k- 3rd grade:
