Every day of the year, Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) aid workers provide emergency aid, shelter, medicines and lifesaving care in some of the most remote and insecure parts of the world.
This means that many of them will be away from their loved ones over the upcoming holidays.
So every year, MSF sends a special holiday package to aid workers in the field in appreciation of their crucial work, and we thought you would like to share your thoughts with them, too.
Right now, MSF medical teams are delivering urgently needed care to people trapped in conflict zones, natural disasters, epidemic outbreaks, and suffering from exclusion from health care in places like Somalia, Sri Lanka and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Tell them you appreciate their hard work and wish them well for the upcoming holidays.
I want to thank you for choosing to spend your holidays doing the important work of helping others.
