Community Effort to Ban Bath Salts and Legal Weed ~ Founded in Cumberland, Maryland

I published this on May 29, 2012, however I have researched this phenomena for well over a year and have become acutely aware of the science of these chemical compounds and the immoral way these companies manufacturing these chemical compounds simply design new synthetic compounds with similar molecular fingerprints, which are yet outlawed, to skirt the laws that have already been passed.
 

My proposition will be, that any chemical compound that is in the same genetic molecular family tree shall be outlawed alongside those already outlawed by current legislation. 

I hope to hear back from you and hope you will share your thoughts  and also please offer this site and my name to anyone you come across that may be looking for help on this issue, on a local, state, or federal level.

I will also help anyone I may from another country as well.
 

My article has a plethora of facts, links, and observations that are all excellent  resources.

I have tried to make one source online that is conclusive and convincing to any reader so that each will understand this multi-faceted legal and social problem.
 

I have been researching and writing on this topic quite a bit before it hit national headlines, and my blog on this particular topic (which I left the link for above) has been read, unfortunately, much more often then my article that was printed at The United States Department of Energy. I hope we outlaw all of this chemical garbage across the country, and especially here locally in Cumberland, Maryland first, as well as, across our great state of Maryland. 

Maryland has always led the legislative forefront in protecting it's citizens against companies profitting on such immoral practices that now must and shall be made illegal.

I have seen the devastating effects first hand and find these compounds personally despicable.

These compounds and the damage done will simply place a further onus on the tax payers to pay for these problems that may be and can be preventable very soon with the passage of proper legislation, which I urge you each, citizens and our elected officials, to work on diligently, just as much as I urge you each to hear this cry by signing this petition immediatley, please. 

We have the ability to prevent countless deaths by taking a proactive strong stance now and no longer accept the sales or business practices anywhere in our society.

I have worked very hard to make sure this is an issue that gets local, state, national, and inter-national attention, and it has as well. 

It is also picking up speed in the press as well as gaining continued needed scrutiny. 

Most of what I have personally written, I have seen almost copied in such a similar way as I myself have presented it in my writing, that it is rather flattering, and my google stats at my blog display just how much readership my article has garnered as well.
 

I Have a Science Degree with a Major in Police Science, and these type of issues and articles of interest I just cannot ignore.

I write this petition today so that we may collectively place a stop to something that is tearing at the already delicate fabric of too many already fragile communities.
