Stop Cruelly Slaughtering Feral Donkeys and Goats in Australia

Please show compassion and sign this petition to the Australian Government's Department of Sustainability, to stop Australia using the cruel 'Judas' collar, and to find another more humane way to manage the feral donkey and goat population.

"The feral donkey hunters follow the donkey pack in helicopters from which they gun down the entire pack except the collared Jenny, leaving the bodies to rot. The Jenny then goes in search of other mates who soon meet the same fate. Please sign to help stop the use of the 'Judas' collar (which was introduced in 1994) and to spare many Jennys a life of utter misery. In Australia millions of feral donkeys and goats are considered pests and this animal cruelty needs to be addressed as they are sociable animals with feelings who are suffering. Many Australians do not support the current methods of culling (ie use of a collar and aerial shooting) as it is not conservation and it is not supported by the RSPCA.
