I'm pro-environment and I vote!

Target: State Representatives
Sponsored by: Care2
You don't have to be a green party member or an environmental activist to tell your local representatives that it's time to make some changes in our global environmental policy. When you vote in the 2006 election, your vote can make a big difference on key issues.

Thanks to Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth," awareness of global warming is growing. Public health concerns continue to rise along with cancer and heart disease rates. Is Medicare equipped to handle it?

More and more, animals like the wolf, grizzly bear, fox and bobcat are gunned down as public parks and wildlife reserves disappear.

Tell your state representatives to take global warming, environmental pollution and wildlife preservation seriously NOW. Tell them to find the CAUSE of all these cancers, not just the cure. Tell them to protect America's natural resources and wildlife heritage.

Pledge to use your vote to stop global warming, advocate for public health and protect wildlife.

I am extremely concerned about three very important environmental issues
and want you to do something about them NOW:

1) We must take massive action to slow global warming before itıs too late.
2) We must stop pumping our environment full of chemicals untested for
safety on humans. Let's find the cause of environmental cancers, not
just the cures.
3) Stop attacks on our wildlife. Protect our national, state and regional
parks and forests and the animals that live in them.

Thank you,

Do you trash and pollute your own living room? or that of a friend you go to visit? Then why do you do so to the living room of the animals???

Protection of the environment is not an option, it is a reality. Once it is destroyed there is no second chance to do right. While we may not be here when that point of no return is reached, our children and grandchildren will be. As guardians responsible for them, we have an obligation to preserve and protect the environment. The time is NOW to take global warming, environmental pollution and wildlife preservation seriously. It's time to find the CAUSE of all the various cancers, not just the cure. It's time to protect America's natural resources and wildlife heritage. It is NOT OPTIONAL.

By protecting the environment and global warming, we are also preserving ourselves. If you follow the gloal warming situation, the wildlife population and diversity of species, you will get "the big picture." In this chain of events, we are at the top, which means what ever happens to the ecosystem (polution, warming, ocean trade water flows, wildlife) will eventually happen to us. START NOW to change the events and preserve the ecosystem WE HAVE LEFT AND THE WILDLIFE!!

I like the planet I live upon. I am watching it's extiction and along with it the future generations of my children and yours. No real proof of this many say- I say you have no proof to the contrare. I also want to know why one would not err on the side of life instead of death? why would one not err on the side of long term new jobs producing a healther enviroment for our childrens children rather than the status quo in industry that is questionable at best on it's health to the public and enviroment. profit at the expence of the planet we live on is insanity.Where are you going to spend that profit in a dead world?Don't think so you say-There are millions of us who do and we vote.Get your head out of the sand -come awake to the year 2006-not 1950 and lets act like you have some vestage of intellegence anyway. You spend way to much time talking and licking the feet of corporate America while telling the American public about keeping jobs in America -while that same corporate America is moving our jobs to other countries while elimanating and downsizing here-Green Industry is the answer and once again we -America -can lead the world on a new journey
