Stop the Shadowy Spending: Pass the DISCLOSE Act

It's been nearly one year since the Supreme Court allowed unlimited corporate spending in our elections. We've already seen the results: This past election, millions of dollars funded attack ads -- many of them of questionable accuracy and integrity -- and directly supported candidates for office.

The Senate knows this rampant spending has corrosive effects on our democracy. But now, with just weeks left before the end of this Congress, they still have not acted on the DISCLOSE Act that would reveal the interests behind the money.

Voters have a right to know who is behind this unprecedented spending that has dominated the public airwaves and who is behind the shadowy front groups with misleading names that reveal nothing about the groups' agendas.

This lame duck session could be the last chance we have to pass the DISCLOSE Act. Tell your senators to vote YES and shine the light on corporate political spending.
Dear Senator,

This end-of-the-year session could be the last chance to pass the urgently-needed DISCLOSE Act.

Please do all you can to pass the DISCLOSE Act now, and pull back the curtains to reveal the interests behind the spending. Americans have a right to know.
