Stop uranium ammunition

The goal is to stop the use of Depleted Uranium in ammunition, because millions of people and huge portions of countries are contaminated and many more in contamination danger.
After seeing the documentary "Der Arzt und die verstrahlten Kinder von Basra, WDR, 2004" ("The doctor and the radiated children of Basra, WestGermanTelevision, 2004") in a remake for the Belgian television, I was really shocked!
The images from malformed children, the stories from geneticly damaged innocents and soldiers, the ongoing contamination and spreading of radioactive particles and the ongoing denial of all this by the American Defense Ministery ought me to take action.
So if you don't like genetical modifications of your own organism (you 'll give it to your children, and they to theirs and so on), caused by munition that stays radioactive forever (uranium needs 4.5 billion years to be only half as radioactive as now, still way to high for human existence according to the WHO), you'd better sign this petition and send this to as many people as you can, because one day the contamination danger will be everywhere when the coalition keeps on using this weapons without cleaning up. A US military training video even shows that soldiers should not come close to radioactive sources (this video was created around the 90's, but remains unused today in the trainingprograms because of the huge interesests uranium production brings).
The Serbian military is well aware of this danger, they spend huge costs finding and removing every single uranium shell in their country! Bagdad is facing a much more dangerous situation, since the whole environment gets polluted, with sometimes 50% contaminated particles in the air! Every single human being in Bagdad is now being exposed to very high levels of radioactivity, a disaster is at hand! The people of the documentary are all contaminated by their investigations there and take medication now...
All this is against the human rights, the Defense Ministeries of the coalition partners can no longer denial this! There is no such thing as the "Gulf syndrome" or the "Bosnia syndrome", those people all suffer directly from the use of this kind of ammunition and the government MUST HAVE KNOWN THIS.
Because uranium is twice as heavy as led it actually doubles our tripples the effect of these missiles, because it penetrates litteraly everything. So the soldiers like this ammunition very much as long as they don't know that not only their lives but the lives of their unborn children and all innocent civilians is at great risk!
I hope so much that this ammunition will be forbidden as soon as possible and that the coalition takes its responseability. Help me achieve this goal!
