Save the Seals - Boycott Canadian Seafood
Please stop purchasing your seafood from Canada. Thousands of stores and restaurants have joined the boycott to stop the suffering and slaughter of these innocent precious babies.
The annual Canadian Seal Slaughter is just a few short weeks away. We need to do all we can to stop this before 300,000 + Baby Harpseals die by the hands of greedy men once again. This is inhumane and it will not bring back the Cod to the area because man has overfished these oceans to nearly a point of extinction. it's time we give the waters back to whom they belong. And that is not us. most of the seals slaughtered are under 3 months of age and unable to protect themselves and unable to flee under the ice floes because they are still young to swim. Many are skinned while still alive and the carcasses left to rot on the ice. This is done so some uncareing person can wear their fur. Very little of the sealers income is from this so called hunt. it is only done off season. they are able to slaughter 300,000 animals usually in 3 to 4 days. It's time everyone takes a stand and puts this one to bed for good.
