Kooples - Ban Sales of Fur and Angora In Effort to Stop Rabbit Abuse

Imagine that rabbits are dragged out of confined cages every three months to get abusively shorn for their fur to provide products for various retailers.  After such abusive treatment, the rabbits often fall sick to illness, infections, neglect and frequently are killed when no longer useful to those needing their skins.  The fur is often used for sweaters, hats and scarves by various retailers.  Many such retailers have stopped selling angora products but Kooples continues to offer such items, along with other products made from Foxes and raccoons.  All these animals live in abusive situations since they are raised for one purpose with little regard to their well-being.

Join my effort in speaking out to save the lives of the angora rabbits by urging Kooples to follow suit of other retailers and stop selling angora and other fur products.  You can also be a voice for these animals by signing and sharing this petition.  As you sign, share your comments and thoughts that speak volumes in saving the lives of these and other abuse creatures.

The Kooples – I am disturbed to learn that Kooples continues to offer angora, wool and other fur products as part of your store inventories, especially after learning the abuse the animals endure to “provide” their fur.  PETA has provided some information and evidence regarding the inhumane treatment these animals endure such as confinement in filthy, tiny cages while the fur farmers use the cruelest methods of shearing the animals, often leading to their illness and eventual death. I strongly urge you to follow suit with the many other retailers who are now fur and angora-free. There are many other fashion statements that does not include abuse on animals, since fashion should be fun and not cruel.  Stop promoting abuse to animals by making your stores fur and angora-free!
