The idea that it is thrilling to watch wild animals coerced into acting like clumsy humans, or funny & entertaining to see prowerful beasts reduced to cringing cowards by a whip cracking trainer is barbaric & ethically wrong.

Circus animals spend only 2% of their lives performing, the remaining 98% of their life is spend in misery.

Circus animals are also shipped as unimportant cargo from one strange city to the next. These magnificent animals are crammed into small, filthy, poorly ventilated trailers with barely enough room to move.

Circus animals spend a great deal of their lives in chains. Elephants are chained by 1 or both front legs AND 1 or both back legs, leaving them restriced to one spot. Wild elephants travel an average of 30 - 50 miles in one day, circus elephants can not even take 1 step.

Not only are circuses containing animals no fun for the animals, they are potentially dangerous to humans. Tuberculosis is VERY common in circus elephants due to the unhealthy conditions they are forced to live in. Tuberculosis is highly contagious to humans. Also, rampaging circus animals is not as uncommon as one might think. With the amount of stress & physical & mental abuse these animals receive, they are known to "protest". A "protesting" animal can cause serious injuries to itself & spectators.

Please raise your voice to end this cruel form of "entertainment". Do not support circuses containing animals. RAISE YOUR VOICE TO SET THEM FREE!
