We're used to fighting for change outside the political arena, through grassroots organizing. But this Tuesday, too much is at stake for any of us to abstain.

If we do not turn out one unified, progressive voice for support of President Obama and down ticket candidates, we will see the future we fight for slip further away:

- Romney will defund Planned Parenthood, reinstate the Global Gag Rule, and will appoint Supreme Court justices to overturn Roe.
- President Obama's DREAMers executive order will be revoked, cutting off hope for any additional college student DREAMers.
- The Defense of Marriage Act won't be repealed.
- And the wealthiest in this county will contribute less while supports for the impoverished are slashed.

Are you ready to put away your dreams of progress over the next few years? I'm not.
