Fur farming is illegal in the UK, but many countrys still kill animals for their pelt. They are trapped in huge steel jaw leghold traps for up to a week before the trapper returns, putting the animla out of its misery by suffocating or clubbing it to death. Foxes, chinchillas and mink are killed by gassing, or even been squeezed to death between 2 hinged planks. This is not meant to be humane, but it does ensure the pelt is not damaged.
Cats and dogs are also raised for the fur trade. The cats are killed by suffocation, someimtes the pelt is ripped from the animals back when it is still alive, screaming in pain. Dogs are chained up and a knife thrust into its anus, bleeding to death in horrific pain. Help us stop this crual, barbaric trade.
