Reform Church of the East Now!!!

Dear His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV,

As a spiritual and religious member in the Eeta of the Church of the East, I urge you to initiate and support a needed reformation and enlightenment within our humble church starting with the readmission and reinstitution of Mar Bawai Soro.

I am deeply concerned about the rampant cases of improper behaviors afflicting certain leaders of our Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East.  These behaviors and characteristics sparked rumors and gossip among our flock and have tarnished our primal mission of spreading the Gospel (St. Mark 13:10) by example and prophesy (1 Corinthians 14:4-6).

Our late Patriarch His Holiness Mar Eshai Shimun XXIII was attempting to implement an enlightening reformation that was cut prematurely due to his tragic and mysterious assasination.  I am asking you to track the footsteps and ideas of your predecessor who was scandalously harassed and belittled, coincidently, by some of the same leaders that are today attacking Mar Bawai Soro.

I am also concerned with the lack of a universal liturgical reform to keep up with the adopted and evolving dialects and languages used by the church's members.  The outdated language in which the vast majority of mass is conducted in has resulted in reduced Raza Qadisha comprehension and the disappearance of youth participation in church.

Without reformation, enlightenment, and liturgical comprehension, it is important for us to fulfill our main mission assigned to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.  If we cannot lead by example and with our membership shifting to other more evangelical aggressive churches, how are we able to accomplish the Holy mission bestowed upon us by our Lord Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel to all nations (St. Mark 13:10).

I also kindly and respectfully object to the unholy ruling against our Eeta's humble servant and progressive Christological thinker Mar Bawai Soro.  Raids, both based on lies and insults, are being spewed against him by a select few of our church's leaders who are currently, ironically, outside of their assigned districts.  These messages are not only foreign, but also deeply hostile to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.  For it is stated in the Holy Bible that, "In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the Gospel should receive their living from the Gospel."  (1 Corinthians 9:13-14)

Are these leaders that have placed Mar Bawai Soro's name in vain not abiding by the Gospels and forgotten the lesson our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in the Gospel of St. Mark 9:38-41?

38 "Teacher," said John, "we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us."  39 "Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us.  41 I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.

I urge you as our church's Holy Father to reprimand and those who have substituted insults and false accusations in place of brotherly love and the teachings of the Gospels.  I also ask you, with great respect, to void the ruling of the anti-canonical Synod and to subsequently readmit Mar Bawai Soro to The Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East as to implement reform.

I, as a member of the Eeta, know wholeheartedly that you as our Blessed Father of our church can prevent another schism from unraveling as you are bestowed with Heavenly thinking.
