Please sign and share this petition everywhere possible to draw huge awareness to such horrific animal abuse, cruelty and hoarding cases like the one recently found in Texas. Fifty-seven dogs and twenty-six cats, including puppies and kittens were removed from a bad situation that they have been watching for more than a year!!

More than 80++ animals were living in their own excrements and feces, along with fleas and other parasites in a home near Dallas, Texas. The animals were all in deplorable conditions, many of them emaciated, suffering with hair loss and covered in fleas. The owners of the home were previously warned about the care of their animals a year ago but were allowed to keep them all. All warnings were ignored and the dogs were kept in filthy crates, laying in their own feces and urine.

Officials also found dead mice in some of the crates. Some of the dogs were able to roam the home while others were kept outdoors. One dog was even found inside a car that was parked on the property. The cats had their own room. All the animals had varying health issues, some rather severe. If officials would have removed them much sooner, seeing that the owners clearly ignored all warnings, maybe some of these babies would be in healthier situations. What is even more absurd 45 animals were again removed from this same home just four years prior. It is baffling that such owners, who proved they cannot care for animals, were allowed to do so again, affecting the lives and health of many more cats and dogs.

Please sign and share this petition everywhere possible to draw huge awareness to such horrific animal abuse, cruelty and hoarding cases like the case recently found in Texas. Additionally, we should demand that such abusers never be allowed to own another animal as long as they live.

Animal Control and Judicial System of Dallas, Ft. Worth, Texas – Your laws and regulations need to be more advanced in protecting animals from abuse, cruelty and hoarding. These people were guilty of hoarding 45 dogs four years ago, keeping them in poor conditions and yet they were allowed to do it all over again. Animal authorities gave them warnings to bring their home up to conditions with the recent dogs and cats found in their possession. This was a year ago and they ignored all warnings, causing many animals grave health issues and conditions that could have been prevented if they were stopped long ago from ever owning another pet. I don’t understand how they could be monitored for a year, knowing full well these owners were not going to comply. Meanwhile, the animals lived in filth, feces and parasites. Maybe if the case did not linger so much and these people were banned from owning pets after their first offense years ago, most of these animals would be living happier, healthier lives. Change your laws to stop such animal abuse, punish the abusers to the fullest extent of the law and keep them from ever owning another animal.
