Urge the Government to Review the Radicalisation Awareness Kit - Green Activism and Alternative Music does not Lead to Terrorism

Environmentalists and teachers in Australia have been enraged by a new Federal Government anti-radicalisation kit, according to a report on ABC.net.au

The kit links green activism and alternative music to terrorism through a series of examples and fictitious case studies.

One example that has drawn wide criticism refers to the power of alternative music and the surrounding 'scene' as well as environmental activism in the radicalisation process.

The New South Wales Teachers' Federation slammed the launch of the kit, saying it was designed to generate fear in the community.

Green groups have stated the kit was misleading and potentially dangerous.

Young people in Australia deserve to be treated with respect - they should not be told green activism and alternative music could turn them into dangerous criminals.

Will you join me in urging the Australian Government to review the Radicalisation Awareness Kit - green activism and alternative music does not lead to terrorism!
