Roger Gregg was arrested for allegedly slashing a dog’s throat. Gregg could face one to 10 years in jail and $5,000 in fines if convicted. We urge the prosecuting attorney to pursue this case vigorously. We have asked the petitioners to also write a letter to you involving this case. We know that
according to Wes Reynolds, Gregg killed his Boston Terrier, Stoney, with a knife and threw the dog in a creek behind the trailer park where both men live.

We petition The Honorable Tommy Smith that if convicted and in addition to a period of incarceration— Roger Gregg be required to undergo a thorough psychological evaluation followed by mandatory counseling. We ask that you also urge authorities to ban Gregg for life from contact with animals.
