In 2008 and beyond, we need to move -- quickly -- toward clean energy and global warming solutions. But the McCain campaign is filling the airwaves with blatantly misleading or false claims about his record and the record of Barack Obama.

John McCain likes to say he is for clean energy, but he voted against renewable energy every time it mattered; he missed eight votes on renewable energy this year alone. In fact, his refusal to support tax incentives for clean energy could put 116,000 jobs in the wind and solar industries alone at risk.

For the environment's sake, we need a pro-environment president in the White House! Let Senator Barack Obama know that you will stand up against the anti-environment rhetoric and record of John McCain.
