Take a Stand to Eliminate Pediatric AIDS

FACT: Every day, more than 500 children die of AIDS because they do not have access to the HIV medicines they need to survive and thrive.

And while incredible strides have been made to connect adults to HIV treatment, children continue to be left behind when it comes to advances in medical research and access to lifesaving medicines. They can't be treated as miniature adult -- they need medicines, care and support that is appropriate, tested, and proven for their specific ages.

Nearly 2 million children are in need of treatment. And yet, adult access to lifesaving medicine outpaces that of children almost 2 to 1.

We've come such a long way in pediatric HIV/AIDS research and treatment but we can't give up now. We must make pediatric treatment a global priority -- together.

There's no time to waste. Add your name today and join the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) in the fight to end AIDS in children.
I vow to help ensure that children are no longer the forgotten faces of the global AIDS epidemic. It is a gross injustice that our most vulnerable population is the least likely to receive the life-saving HIV medicines they need.

Until no child dies from AIDS, I will combat the stigma, fear, or lack of access to knowledge and treatment that keep kids from getting the care they need. I pledge to support Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation's (EGPAF) efforts to make sure that children are given the chance to not only survive, but to thrive.
