With the many challenges that the U.S. has faced in the past few years, it is increasingly important that we elect new, progressive leaders to office.
We should not just focus on the next election, but on building a progressive political movement that will elect an enduring majority for years to come. The way to accomplish this goal is to begin locally, where politics matter most.
Progressive Majority, an organization committed to recruiting, training and electing leaders willing to stand up and fight for what matters, is asking you to do your part to help.
Take the pledge today to help elect progressive leaders to your school board, city council, state governments and beyond.

If we want to see changes that benefit the majority—the average working American, we need to elect progressive candidates—even if those candidates are secular humanists. While “conservatives” may play at peoples' heartstrings by exploiting their religious beliefs and moral aptitudes, they are kowtowing for votes. And they get elected with one arm around Jesus while the other is busy picking your pocket and laying degradation to your other, important interests. The reality is once in power, they will continue to care for and take care of the minority—the moneyed class, big, business interests, and any other entity here or abroad that put a stake on the winning horse.

I've enough of the conservatives.
I'd like government to be of, by and for the people, not the rich.

I want to elect progressive candidates because I think they are the way of the future and will bring people together like never before. Progressive leaders are not afraid of their own shadows and are willing to stand up for what is right and in turn they inspire and energize the American public. We cannot afford to live in the past or stay stagnant but we must be willing to elect progressive candidates who will lead us boldly into the future and who will truly bring progress to America.

We need leaders who understand the problems of increasing tuition, public safety issues, and poverty which is in the center of global warming.

I want to elelct progressive candidates because what are the alternatives? Regressive candidates? The last eight years might lead you to believe so...
Respectfully Submitted,

If the government of this country wants to become legitimate, it will instill the entirety of the principles upon which it based and which were stolen from the rules of democracy established by the Great Iroquois Confederacy. Get your true history--only females vote for the male elder who goes to council from the local vicinity :)! Probably would all be happy and in love with each other if only this part had been included earlier on--no surprise women cut off men's penises and go insane with abusive husbands, etc. etc. etc.

Progressive candidates share my vision for the future. They care about all individuals, the environment and all of the life that resides upon our beautiful Earth.
