Pledge your support to end child trafficking

Trafficking is not just a problem that happens to people in other countries.

Canada is a source and transit country, and is also considered a destination point for victims of child trafficking and exploitation.

Cases of human trafficking have been reported throughout Canada. Anyone can be trafficked whether it's by force, coercion or intimidation. This happens to children and adults regardless of ethnicity, socioeconomic background, education, gender, age or citizenship.

Child victims of trafficking may be forced to work in sweatshops, on construction sites. They can end up on the streets forced into begging, in wars as child soldiers, or forced to work in brothels and strip clubs.

It's time to shine a light on this problem in Canada and beyond.

Putting a stop to all forms of child trafficking is critical to UNICEF's work. Add your name today to stand with us and spread the word about the fight to end child trafficking!
