Tell world leaders - clean water for everyone, everywhere by 2030. Make it happen.

We live in a world where today 750 million people will have no clean water to drink and a mind–boggling 2.5 billion won't find anywhere safe to go the toilet. Will you help end this by signing our Make it Happen petition?

The consequences of the water and sanitation crisis are devastating. Every minute a child dies from a water–related disease, millions of girls drop out of school every year because they have nowhere to go the toilet, deadly diseases like Ebola run riot in communities without access to basic handwashing facilities, medical staff struggle to care for patients in health centres that they can't keep clean.

It doesn't have to be this way — you can help by telling world leaders, including the UK Government, to prioritise investment in water and sanitation.

And there has never been a better time to make your voice heard than right now. In September, after three years of negotiations, world leaders will finalise a set of international development priorities for the next 15 years, the Sustainable Development Goals. Their ambition is to end extreme poverty by the year 2030 — will you tell them that to do this they must prioritise clean water and safe toilets?

The time for talking is almost over — the time has come to make it happen. If you believe every single person should have clean water to drink and somewhere safe to go to the toilet, please sign our petition today.
I want to live in a world where every single person has clean water to drink and a safe toilet. I believe the UK Government should support a dedicated Sustainable Development Goal on water and sanitation and do more to make sure that everyone, everywhere has taps and toilets by 2030 for a healthier, fairer and more sustainable world.
