End Tax Cuts for the Wealthy, NOT Medicare

Republicans are not holding anything back. They are trying their hardest to push through their ideological legislation to appease their far right constituents. And now, Medicare is at risk.

They want to privatize Medicare, a service that provides care to millions of older Americans who desperately need it. But when it comes to asking wealthy Americans to pay their fair share, they scoff at the idea.

The truth is that we shouldn't balance the budget on the backs of seniors, and the wealthiest Americans need to pay their fair share.

Tell Republicans that the path is clear: raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans, and don't touch Medicare!
Dear Decision Maker,

There is an imbalance in the U.S. And that imbalance becomes blatantly clear when lawmakers are trying to remove services for seniors who are facing desperate times while simultaneously allowing the richest Americans to pay very little taxes.

Medicare serves seniors all across the country. In this economy, you should be aware of the struggles of seniors to make ends meet, let alone pay for their increasing medical bills. This is a service that the government has a duty to offer.

And the fact that seniors are struggling while wealthy Americans only get richer is simply unfair. Wealthy Americans should be asked to pay their fair share in taxes! Any other system is unjust and does not make sense.

As your constituent, I do not want to see Medicare privatized.
