Save the Veterans Hospital
The collection of signatures to stop the closure of the Canandaugia, New York Veterans Hospital and the additional six nationwide
We, the veterans, and patients, and concerned citizens of the United States, hear by demand, that the seven VA Hospitals slated for closure by Mr. Anthony Principi, (Secretary of Veterans Affairs) be kept open and that his Department increase funding and staff to each hospital. We demand the resignation of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Mr. Anthony Principi, for gross negligence and uncaring for his position on closing the seven veterans hospitals and his unwillingness to provide his leadership in securing increased benefits, services, financial support and staff to the veterans of the United States. He has and is derelict in his duty to the AMERICAN VETERAN, by his actions, which will leave millions of veterans without medical services in their areas of residence. His actions will bring about increased mortality rates among veterans and their families and increase the financial hardship already being sustained by veterans. I call upon all to sign this position and contact their elected officials to stop this situation.
