Even though women make up half of America's workplace, we're still a long way from fairness and equality. Women earn an average of just 78 cents for every $1 earned by men.
Passing the Paycheck Fairness Act is the next step in the fight for equal pay. This key legislation would close loopholes and level the playing field between men and women.
House Republicans are standing in the way, even while they pretend to rebrand themselves as women-friendly. Refusing women equal pay for equal work is the opposite of women-friendly and shouldn't be tolerated. We must hold their feet to the fire!
Tell House Republicans that equal work deserves equal pay, so pass the Paycheck Fairness Act!
