Help Moms Fight Malaria

Malaria takes the life of one child every 45 seconds. But something amazing is happening around the world to fight back against the disease. When children and family members get sick, their families can afford to pay for their treatment.

Poverty is what makes malaria so deadly. When malaria strikes a child, his mother may have as little as 24 hours to get him adequate medical care or he may die. For families living on the edge, the window is often too short to get the resources to save a life.

But as more women are gaining financial tools, knowledge and independence through microloan and education programs, even women in the poorest and most remote areas can access financial services that enable them to save for a rainy day -- or for malaria treatment to save their child's life.

Pledge your support and help spread the word that access to microloans for women can stop malaria in it's tracks.
