I did find out that Larry Glover for the City is the one who is in control of this lglover@city.belleville.on.ca

Follow up on the Foxes and the den at Zwicks Park:
On the weekend the male and female fox were trapped and placed in holding somewhere. The thought was they were being bothered by kids and the CITY decided to capture them and move them. I had a call from CBC radio yesterday to ask me for information on this capture and the nature of the issues, they got my name as a person who has been at the den the last three weeks documenting their start in life with photos. I referred them to the city or the animal control company who was hired. Although the parents are in holding, there are three little kits who have been on their own for four days in the den. Were they still suckling? Do they still need their mother’s milk? Janet and John Foster Journalist and well known within Canada for their work with wildlife have taken up the charge on getting answers. What I don’t want is these KITS dying because of the actions of the city. If they are released over 1klm away from their den it’s illegal. What should happen? is their parents should be brought back to their home and reunite with their kits and it should be taped off. They will move on their own. I will keep you posted. Update #17 years ago
The parents and kits were reunited and will be relocated as a family soon.

We still don't like the way the city handled this, but believe they've been educated.
