New York State needs to honor the compact with the Seneca Indian nation instead of violating it.

  • by: Paul Davey
  • recipient: Governor of New York State, Andrew Cuomo

The City of Niagara Falls and their residents are being held hostage in a dispute between the State and the Seneca Indian Nation.  The State is not paying the City.

A deal struck between the Seneca Nation and New York State was breeched when Governor Cuomo approved Slot Machines within  territory {see section 9 (a) (1)} at locations that were specified in the compact as territory {see section 12 (a) (1)} that they are not allowed to be in.  In retaliation the Seneca Nation are withholding Casino revenue from the State of New York.

Instead of doing right by the compact, Governor Cuomo prefers to continue the violation and put up State run Casinos.  Niagara Falls is hurting, please sign the petition to make New York State make right by the compact, honor as it was signed and remove the Slot Machines and any other violations they have done.
