It is important that taxpayers should not pay for the likes of the murderer of Daniel Morcombe to be granted appeal of sentence. He has been found GUILTY of the crime and admitted so when caught by Police. The Police work their guts out to find the killer and the court has sentenced him. While everyone has the right to appeal, let this waste of space pay for it. Why even encourage it if there is no possibility of being found innocent. Do the crime, do the time. NO APPEAL PAID FOR BY TAXPAYERS in this case. Taxes could go to counselling for children who have been violated and their families living with it.
