Seals Still Slaughtered in Canada - Keep Up The Fight!

Canada's seal hunt is the largest deliberate slaughter of marine mammals in the world. Every winter in Eastern Canada, harp seal pups are left alone and vulnerable on the ice while their mothers search for mates; during this time, they are mercilessly slaughtered for their pelts. Appallingly, the Canadian government subsidizes this hunt.
As if this wasn't bad enough, this week Governor-General Michaelle Jean visited an Inuit village and ate raw seal heart after slicing into a freshly slaughtered seal. Attempts to validate these actions by claiming that hunting seals is a traditional way of life are unfounded.
This isn't about small town survival or native culture, it's an industrial machine that is killing for profit. Despite the European Union's recent ban on seal products, Canadian officials are still pushing for the hunt to continue.
Tell Prime Minister Harper that Governor-General Jean's actions do not speak for you. The world will no longer stand for this cruel and senseless hunt!

I find this absolutley disgusting and Im sorry should be made illegal there is no reason someone has to have a seal pelt or wear seal eat seal KILL seal... I find it sick that people do this I find it sick that people wear them how would these people feel that while there out doing this disgusting act that people came over and clubbed there youngins to death huh... Animals are living breathing creatures and should be treated with more respect out there makes me wonder what defines inhumane well its definatley humans because difference with that is we should know better and apparently most do not... I think that Governor-General Michaelle Jean is disgusting for doing what was done its not even a need its just money the purest of evil there is anyways who agrees with this Seal clubbing is disgusting and should be clubbed themselves.
