Report abuse Here in Germany, there is no adequate law protecting non-human creatures. You'll get life in jail for killing only one single human, but to my knowledge, paying a fine is all you possibly get for the murder of multiple non-humans. In my opinion, this has to be adjusted in BOTH directions, to kind of meet up in the middle. I can't see why someone would get life in jail for killing one of a species that is BY FAR the most destructive to earth and whose population numbers have FAR exceeded what this planet could bear, while killing a member of any other species that are not harmful to their environment and sometimes even endangered is "no big deal".

Report abuse There are no laws in Greece that matter. They are not enforced. Animals are at the mercy of human cruelty.

Report abuse I support all efforts to increase protection for animals. We are stewards of this Earth, not its masters. |
