Hold YouTube Accountable For Their Content!
Recently, it was discovered that a video containing frightening scenes of animal abuse was on YouTube from 12/11/06 through 3/17/06. The video had been flagged for graphic violence many times and no action was taken from YouTube to remove it from their site.
The video named "Singing Cat" contained disturbing images of a 16 year-old boy physically abusing a cat in order to make it scream. The video was finally removed, not by YouTube, but by the owner himself when he received too many complaints from users!
We would like to hold YouTube accountable for enforcing their own Codes of Conduct which clearly state that videos containing illegal acts such as animal abuse are not to be posted on their site.
Please sign this petition to ask YouTube why they did not respond to the hundreds of flags they received from it's viewers about this video and hold them accountable for removing videos of animal abuse in the future!
