Shame on You Communities United and OccupyOurHomesAtl:Stop Holding Susie's Petition Hostage

When I was initially approached by Mary Szaich of Communities United volunteering to help my mother, Susie Johnson, 80 and disabled, save her home and fight these banks, I would have never thought that this would happen.

There was a disagreement over the use of white privilege to negotiate with these banksters and because of that we were shunned and ostracized and eventually the disruption caused a gap in getting support for my mother and she was subsequently evicted on 5/30/2014.  Unfortunately, my name was smeared and anyone that was helping turned their backs on us.  My mother is distraught and is now in a wheelchair.  She states "My whole life changed within a few hours" as she wept uncontrollably.  Over these last few months I have watched my mother deteriorate and what makes it worse is that this petition which has over 6,513 signatures of which I initiated about 2,000 or more of them, is being held hostage by this organization that publicly states that they help distressed homeowners.  Control is an issue that we of African descent have dealt with over the centuries and because I could not be controlled, I was labeled as difficult and my name smeared.  Instead of a campaign to help my mother, a campaign was launched to discredit me, thus what we have seen over the centuries has occurred.  Those who take advantage of white privilege use it to control the masses and anyone who knows anything at all about the use of white privilege knows that as long as it continues to be accepted, racism will continue to exist.  This is how these banksters were able to take hold of our communities.

Release the administrative hold on the petition so that the support that was given by the signers of that petition can continue to be used for what it was supposed to be used for!  Stop holding my mother, Susie Johnson, 80 and disabled, responsible for our disagreement over white privilege and release her petition!

You should not have control over what goes out to the signers of the petition!

Help, not HURT Susie Johnson!  You are doing the same things as the banksters except you do it in the name of helping!

SHAME ON YOU!

Trina Scordo, Mary Szaich, Tim Franzen, and Shab Bashiri,

Please release the hold that you have on my mother's petition.  No updates can be emailed out nor can any of the petition signers be contacted.  What you are doing is just as bad as what the banksters have done to her except it is more emotional.  My mother always to this day tells me to thank all of you for helping her and I have not told her what has transpired.  We have not had any verbal confrontations yet you do things that harm no just me but my mother.  The support that was needed by the signers of the petition was removed when you all decided to stick together to torture my mother and I because of a disagreement over white privilege.  My concerns were justified because look at the outcome.

Release the administrative hold on my mother's petition!  Let the woman live out her final days at peace in the home that she has struggled to keep for so many years.

Trina and Mary,

Please remember that when you first started up again,  walked the Weequahic Section of Newark with Mary and never asked for anything in return.  My goals were simply to help distressed homeowners.  I constantly brought your name up in the C2SOH meetings with Dave and this is how you repay me.  We don't have to agree on everything but this has gone too far.

My mother is now in a wheelchair and has retreated.  If help is not received soon, I don't know what might happen next.

Update #19 years ago
Dear Signers,

We are presently at 44 signatures and have a long way to go to reach 1,000. Thank you for signing and please forward to your friends and family with a personal request to have them sign as well. My mother's health is deteriorating rapidly. She wasn't in this state while she was in her home and things got to this point because she is traumatized and is shutting down, physically and emotionally. These people have harmed her so badly that I am afraid for her.
