Please sign and share this petition nationwide in an effort to have the caretaker of 49 dead found on his property. Instead of refusing the care of the horses due to lack of funds, the man kept taking in more than he could handle and starved the horses to death.

In Lexington, Kentucky, Mr. Larry Browning owned a farm with multiple animals. This man claims that he takes on horses; has been buying and selling them for more than 50 years. He kept taking more and more animals in but got to the point that he could no longer care for them. When officials arrived on the Pendleton County property, they found 49 deceased horses and 15 that were emaciated. There was very little hay for the horses to eat, some of it in pools of water along with horse carcasses, county animal control officials said.

Many of the deceased animals were mere skeletons, several that were still wearing halters. The emaciated horses had prominent ribs showing their poor conditioned skin. Browning told them he planned to sell all the horses, either to private owners or to slaughterhouses outside of the country within the next month or so. He actually thinks he did nothing wrong! However, police and animal control claims this is the worst animal cruelty case they have seen in many years.

This guy is being charged with 49 counts of not disposing of an animal carcass appropriately within 48 hours of its death and 15 other charges of animal cruelty. He is not being punished enough in my opinion! This guy should be charged with a felony for each and every count of animal cruelty, 64 counts in all. Please sign and share this petition nationwide in an effort to have the caretaker of 49 dead found on his property. Instead of refusing the care of the horses due to lack of funds, the man kept taking in more than he could handle and starved the horses to death.

Pendleton County Police and Judicial System in Lexington, Kentucky – You need to punish this man, Mr. Browning severely for all the neglect, abuse and cruelty inflicted on these 64 horses, many that lost their lives under his “care.” He needs to be slapped with extended jail time and fines, 64 counts of a felony! These animals were defenseless and did not deserve to be treated in the manner they endured at the hands of Mr. Larry Browning.
