Dear lawmakers,

We, the undersigned, demand the following political agenda for American women:



* Equal pay for the work we do;

* Health care we can afford;

* The right to make our own reproductive decisions;

* Quality schools for our children; and

* Social Security and Medicare that will be there for us in our old age!



This is an agenda American women really want. We don't need any more flowery speeches from right-wing politicians about motherhood and "family values." We need leaders who respect women’s lives, and policies that truly value families -- and we know that our Democratic legislators will lead the way!
