The current state of sexual awareness in the world today is largely an argument for why ignorance is better than reality - we strongly disagree with this approach. In the broad history of mankind, rarely (if ever) can you find an example where ignorance and hiding the truth has been the solution. We believe that the solution to a more loving and accepting world lies in foundations of open and honest communication around all topics - including sex education, sexual preferences, and sexual orientation. http://www.SexHonesty.org |

All aspects of sex should be taught in schools and at birth control centers. Sex education is comprehensive and should not serve one political or religious ideology. Comprehensive Aids prevention should also be available to everyone including teens and preteens. |

Republican policies on issues of reproductive rights have failed the U.S. and have in fact, harmed us. It is time for our nation to move into a more Democratic culture of the 21st century and out of the dark ages of superstition and ignorance we have endured for the last 8 years! |

Instead of placing the sexual burden on women, men should be taught to take up their responsibility as well. Instead of only teaching women to try to defend themselves from rape, there needs to be a comprehensive approach to preventing it in the first place, letting men know that it is clearly not ok. It should be stressed that they are to be careful and considerate. It is time that women realize and are able to practice their free will in controlling their reproductive health. It might also help doctors actually take women's health issues more seriously. These are not issues that should be decided on by any popular vote or up to the state's discretion. This is a matter of livelihood and comprehensive sex education, prevenatitve rape measures, and women's roles in their reproductive health should be guaranteed, not granted. |
