Because every 40 seconds a child goes Missing and many times they are labeled Runaways and put aside Mimi was one of those Children and she Did Not run away and she was Murdered. Let's get Mimi's Voice out there and Demand those laws be changed for the sake of all Children.

We at Halos Investigations and Outreach along with the signatures in this petition are reaching out to have the Term Runaway removed from the laws. Many Children have been lured online at school even in their own families and it's become too common to hear oh he/she is Just a Runaway. Many are trafficked exploited and even Murdered. It's an epidemic and Our Children deserve the protection and understanding for all to take their absence seriously. Mimi was a 14 year old girl that was labeled a Runaway and in October 2015 her remains were found. She had been shot in the head. A good student no problem to anyone. Never "Ran Away". And she was found 5 months after she went Missing and very little had even been done. Just another Runaway. Really. No. It's time to change the law and remove that term.
