Justice for Echo, a Probably Bait Dog in Alleged Dog Fighting Ring

A beautiful dog was left for dead in horrific conditions. The animal was dump along the side of the road after allegedly being used as a bait dog in a dog fighting ring. The wounds on the dog and the shaved down teeth were evident that Echo was a bait dog used to train fighters because he couldn't fight back. The story of Echo is one with a happy ending just a month after his rescue; he has gained weight, is healing of all his wounds, projecting a happy demeanor and emanating a total different dog. Some dogs in such situations are not quite as lucky.

Echo underwent several blood transfusions, administering of antibiotics, and a particular medication to clear any parasites that may have been in his system. He received all the help and love he deserves, including a new forever home. Now we are encouraging the Mathew N.C. police department to engage in a lengthy thorough investigation that would lead to the perpetrators and possible dog fighting ring that used Echo in such a horrific manner. You can help in our efforts by signing and sharing this petition to get justice and closure for Echo, along with being more diligent in finding and putting an end to dog fighting rings like that which allegedly used Echo as a bait dog. Echo’s story could lead to possibly saving other dogs that are being used in dog fighting locally.
