Housing and urban Development Abuses and Neglects their tenants, they deprive tenants of heat, and hot water, they do not take complaints serious, they IGNORE complaints, Tenants are denied safety and security, the employees of housing and urban development waste your tax dollars. hud employees ignores work orders no matter how serious they are, hud employees sitting around doing nothing while on the time clock for wages or collecting Bottles. they also close work orders without even checking in to the work order. the Employees harass and intimidate the tenants. they discriminate by playing Favoritism on certain tenants. check out the group called CORRUPTION IN HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ON FACEBOOK as well as OCCUPY HUD GROUP also on FACEBOOK . these are all tenants who live in HUD housing who have Pictures of work orders complaints in regards to situations or safety and security amongst other complaints AGAINST HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. there is no need of the treatment us tenants receive also HUD sends around notices that they are coming out say of an inspection and they NEVER show NOR NOTIFY the TENANTS it has ben   cancelled while the tenants are sitting in all day waiting and prepared BUT if you have an appointment and forget about it RIGHT AWAY IT IS DUE PROCESS FOR EVICTION and that is NOT RIGHT I say what is good for the GOOSE is good FOR THE GANDER !  I myself have an 80 year old mother living with me in Bad health and the Housing Authority has shut the heat off on April 13,2012 I live in New England and at this time of year we still have chilly/cold Nights and Mornings and the Housing did NOT care. I had requested heat and they REFUSED US THE HEAT! I had to call the Mayor of the City of Boston in order to get some heat but the Very net day again the Heat was shut off. Why should us tenants be treated as so? I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office of The State of Massachusetts because in the Attorney Generals hand book of laws for landlord rights and Responsibilities stated that heat MUST BE AVAILABLE from September 15 through June 15 in working condition in EVERY ROOM well I get a reply back from the Attorney Generals office stating she works for the companies NOT the Consumer and tells me to file a complaint with the Utility companies BUT why? it is NOT the Utility Company who shut the Heat off IT IS THE HOUSING AUTHORITY that is under Housing and URBAN Development who Receives funding through the Federal and State that comes from the Tax Payers. also another situation is where i was before in an apartment that i had to move out of because of tearing down that building for RE-Building the Development we as the tenants who were to be affected were giving choices and one of the choices  a section 8 Voucher and thats what I wanted and was DENIED IT because my son who was on my lease was DEPLOYED by the US ARMY to Afghanistan and i was unable to get his income information so they THREATENED me to take this Apartment I am in now or Be EVICTED and LOSE ALL SUBSIDIZED HOUSING FOR LIFE! I have ben living in HUD public housing for a total of 5 years now and have had work orders closed and ignored, no heat or Hot water , no safety and security, threatened eviction for the lease little thing BUT yet I have complained about some serious issues and all have been IGNORED such as Drug Activity in the Building, un wanted guest entering the Building at all hours of the day and Night disturbing other tenants, as well as Racial remarks made on me and even a Knife Pulled on my son and still ALL COMPLAINTS IGNORED! we need to put a stop to HUD and IT'S EMPLOYEES from treating the tenants as so as well as Harassing and Intimidating the Tenants REMEMBER THIS IS WHERE YOUR TAX DOLLARS ARE GOING!
