End the Dropout Crisis

More than one million kids will fail to graduate from high schools across the United States this year.

The reasons are many. Some kids are hungry. Some don’t have a safe way to get to school. Some are homeless.

All of these challenges add up to one tragic outcome: too many kids are dropping out, and missing out on the lifelong opportunities made possible by education.

But there is a solution. Based directly inside schools throughout the country, Communities In Schools connects students and their families to critical educational and community-based resources. By building one-on-one relationships with children in need, staff tailors support to remove student’s specific barriers to an education.
