Help Children in the United States Declare Freedom from Poverty
Nearly one in four children in America is living in poverty.
Many of these children live in unacceptable conditions where basics like dependable electricity, access to nutritious food, and certainly access to books are hard to come by. We believe that no child's future should be pre-determined by poverty.
The solution is to lay a foundation of language and literacy to prepare children for success, help children stay on track throughout school, and introduce nutritious food and much-needed exercise into lives surrounded by sugary cheap snack food and little physical activity.
You can help us reach our initial goal of joining hands with 15,000 people all across America before Aug. 18. Together we can demand better for U.S. children before they return to school in the fall.
Join the voices of Julianne Moore, Jennifer Garner and Randy Jackson to help the more than 16 million children in the U.S. declare FREEDOM FROM POVERTY.
